Accidental Beauty

You've got to take a look at this post, "Beautiful Photos, if Barely Photography" at Lens: The New York Times' photo blog. Ok, maybe you don't have to, but it was a nice read.

It focuses on Sasha Frere Jones' photos, and the ideas that motivate him to take pictures with his Apple iPhone or small point and shoot camera.

Diana and Holga Spotting

While picking up lunch we noticed that two of retail's giants, J.Crew and the Gap
have ads that prominently feature analog cameras. Guess that great minds think alike, or at least their stylists do.

The Diana F+ Camera and Flash makes a cameo appearance for Gap Kids, and the Holga holds it down for J.Crew's Crewcuts line.

Super skinny jeans for kids seems a little silly, but hopefully this kindles an interest in analog photography in the next generation.
